    • in 1920, the percentage of households owning a washer stood at 40%. This figure steadily rose to 70% over the next 40 years before slightly dropping by 5% in 1980.

  • Vacuum cleaner:
    • In 1920, there were 30% of households owning this device.

  • Refrigerator: 
    • In 1920, no one had a fridge in their house. 
    • After 60 years, this device was installed in every household and this stayed unchanged from 1980 to 2019 (nêu số liệu)

  • In 1920, the number of hours people spent on doing household chores per week was 50 hours.
