IV. Phân tích

  • Dạng outweigh thì đã rất quen thuộc với các bạn học sinh lớp IELTS ONLINE WRITING 1 KÈM 1 của IELTS TUTOR rồi nhé
  • Dạng outweigh có 2 cách làm tuỳ theo target mình hướng đến:
    • Cách 1: Theo hướng Totally  (advantages > disadvantages)
      • Body 1: Nêu lí do thứ 1 vì sao advantages > disadvantages
        • Main idea: A newly invented language could be designed to be simpler and more regular than existing languages, potentially making it easier to learn for people from diverse linguistic backgrounds.
        • Supporting idea:
      • Body 2: Nêu lí do thứ 2 vì sao advantages > disadvantages
        • Main idea: A new language could be crafted to be culturally neutral, avoiding biases and privileging no particular culture or nation.
        • Supporting idea:
          • A culturally neutral language can foster inclusivity by avoiding favoritism towards any specific culture or nation.
          • This promotes equality and reduces the potential for discrimination based on linguistic or cultural differences.
    • Cách 2: Theo hướng Partly (partly - CHỈ RIÊNG với dạng OUTWEIGH này thì nếu target 7.0 có thể viết còn các dạng khác không nên viết partly nhé)
      • Intro câu 2, advantages = disadvantages (this trend could have positive and negative consequences in equal measures)
      • Body 1: On the one hand, viết về advantages
        • Main idea 1: A newly invented language could be designed to be simpler and more regular than existing languages, potentially making it easier to learn for people from diverse linguistic backgrounds.
        • Main idea 2: A new language could be crafted to be culturally neutral, avoiding biases and privileging no particular culture or nation.
          • Supporting idea:
            • A culturally neutral language can foster inclusivity by avoiding favoritism towards any specific culture or nation.
            • This promotes equality and reduces the potential for discrimination based on linguistic or cultural differences.
      • Body 2: On the other hand, viết về disadvantages
        • Main idea 1: Adopting a new international language might lead to the erosion of cultural diversity as unique languages and dialects fade into obscurity.
          • Supporting idea:
            • When a dominant international language is adopted for communication purposes, speakers of minority languages may gradually shift towards the dominant language, leading to language loss.
            • This shift can result from social, economic, or political pressures, ultimately contributing to the decline of linguistic diversity.
          • Example: Scotland and Ireland have rich Gaelic language heritages, with Scottish Gaelic and Irish Gaelic holding distinct histories and cultural importance, once widely spoken but now facing dramatic decline due to the rise of English, which became dominant through colonization and political changes, leading to pressures for adoption, causing a loss of unique words, expressions, and storytelling traditions, although ongoing efforts persist to revitalize these endangered languages.
        • Main idea 2: People might resist learning a new language, especially if they already speak a widely used language like English, Mandarin, or Spanish.
          • Supporting idea:
            • Individuals may perceive learning a new language as impractical if they believe they can communicate effectively in their native language or a widely spoken lingua franca like English.
            • They may prioritize other skills or pursuits over language learning, especially if they don't foresee immediate benefits from mastering a new language.

IELTS TUTOR gợi ý bài tham khảo:

Some people propose that a brand-new language should be invented for global communication. This trend could have both benefits and drawbacks in equal measure.

On the one hand, designing a new international language could offer notable advantages. Firstly, such a language could be deliberately structured to be simplified (đơn giản hóa – made easier to understand) and systematic (có hệ thống – arranged according to fixed rules), unlike many natural languages which contain confusing irregularities (sự bất quy tắc – inconsistent features) in grammar, pronunciation, and spelling. With uniform (đồng nhất – consistent in form and usage) rules, learners from diverse linguistic backgrounds would find it more straightforward to master communication. Secondly, this newly designed language could be culturally neutral (trung lập về văn hóa – not favoring any culture), avoiding linguistic dominance by powerful nations. By eliminating cultural favoritism, such a language could foster inclusivity (tính bao hàm – equal participation of all groups) and reduce discrimination, thereby promoting equality among speakers worldwide.>> Form đăng kí giải đề thi thật IELTS 4 kĩ năng kèm bài giải bộ đề 100 đề PART 2 IELTS SPEAKING quý đang thi (update hàng tuần) từ IELTS TUTOR

On the other hand, there are also considerable disadvantages to this approach. One major drawback is the risk of erosion (sự xói mòn – gradual weakening or destruction) of cultural diversity. As people increasingly adopt a common international language, minority languages may slip into obscurity (sự mai một – the state of being forgotten or unknown). For instance, in Scotland and Ireland, the Gaelic languages—once vibrant and widely spoken—have dramatically declined due to the dominance of English. This has resulted in the loss of unique words, expressions, and oral traditions, despite ongoing revitalization efforts. Furthermore, many individuals may strongly resist (chống lại – refuse to accept) learning a new language, particularly if they already speak global lingua francas such as English, Mandarin, or Spanish. From their perspective, adopting a new language seems impractical (không thực tế – not useful or realistic) and unnecessary, leading them to prioritize other pursuits over acquiring another form of communication.

In conclusion, while a newly invented language might simplify learning and promote neutrality, it could equally threaten linguistic diversity and face widespread resistance, meaning its benefits and problems are balanced.
