      • Example: For instance, the government should not support any industry which produces a higher amount of harmful gases >< authorities should encourage industries to produce green energy from renewable sources such as solar and hydro energy.
    • Main idea 2: politicians usually have access to resources to educate people about environmental problems 
      • Supporting idea: 
        • It is vital to promote the most important ecological projects on all levels, ranging from special courses at schools to TV shows and websites related to this topic.
        • The government can make environment a subject in the primary school curriculum to spread awareness about protecting the environment.
      • Example:  Costa Rica stands out as an environmental leader, with former President José María Figueres designating education as the "fourth pillar" of sustainability, incorporating environmental education into the national curriculum, and implementing awareness campaigns through media channels, fostering a population deeply committed to conservation and propelling the country to global leadership in renewable energy and rainforest protection.

        • a simple lifestyle change such as introducing the separation of household rubbish can make recycling projects more convenient and efficient.
