On the other hand, those, myself included, who oppose this viewpoint assert that art and music education offer numerous benefits beyond traditional career paths in these fields. In fact, art education can open doors to a wide array of professions beyond fine arts and design. For example, in industries like advertising and marketing, artists skilled in graphic design, illustration, and visual storytelling play pivotal roles in creating captivating advertisements and digital content that effectively engage audiences and convey messages. Similarly, the global expansion of music consumption through digital platforms and smartphone usage presents lucrative opportunities for musicians to reach broader audiences and monetize their music on a global scale.

In conclusion, while some argue that art and music education are extraneous in schools, I do contend that they offer invaluable benefits beyond conventional career paths.
