Another negative consequence of excessive tourism is the potential commodification of local cultures. The historic city of Venice, Italy, stands as a poignant example, grappling with challenges like the commercialization of its cultural heritage fueled by the influx of millions of visitors annually.

In conclusion, I do believe that while increased travel undoubtedly offers educational and rejuvenating benefits, it also brings about environmental and cultural challenges.
