The graph below shows the number of complaints made about noise to Environmental Health authorities in the city of Newtown between 1980 and 1996.

IELTS TUTOR giải thích lí do chia như này vì 2 đường Factories + Domestic / Household có xu hướng na ná nhau và 2 đường Road works + Traffic noise cũng có xu hướng na ná nhau, khá là dễ trong việc nhóm lại và phân tích

Ngoài ra có nhiều cách khác để chia bố cục nhé, có thể chia thành những năm đầu và những năm cuối giai đoạn vẫn được, miễn sao viết rõ ràng

• Overall: 
  • The number of complaints made about noises from roadworks and traffic soared since 1988 after a steady period during the first half of the decade 
  • While the number of complaints made about domestic noises declined steadily, it increased gradually regarding factories’ over the given time period  
• Body 1: Viết về Roadworks + traffic noise 
  • In 1980, the figure for roadworks was more than 500, and that for Traffic noise complaints was about 300 total complaints.  (IELTS TUTOR gợi ý cách diễn đạt khác: Noise disturbance from traffic and road construction, after 3-month plateau at around 300 times and 500 times correspondingly, lessened their degrees to respective 200 and 400 complaints in 1988)  >> IELTS  TUTOR  hướng  dẫn  Cách dùng & paraphrase "respectively"/ "respective"
  • Their levels were then intensified, taking the number of complaints up to 600 for traffic and 1200 for the other in 1996
• Body 2: Còn lại 
  • Viết về factories

    • There was an improvement in household-caused noise situation (nêu số liệu)
    • The constant dip from …. in 1980 to….in 1996 turned household activities to be the least reason to complain from the most disturbing one.
