This approach not only exaggerates the actual severity of events but also cultivates a "pessimistic" (bi quan) outlook on life among audiences. For instance, frequent reports on terrorism or violent crimes may deter individuals from engaging in activities such as traveling or attending public events due to the fear of becoming victims. Moreover, children and teenagers, especially those lacking proper guidance, are particularly vulnerable to such influences. They may develop "rebellious" (nổi loạn) tendencies, bully others, or even commit crimes in the future after being exposed to harmful content repeatedly. For example, violent TV programs or detailed depictions of crimes in news reports have been linked to increasing rates of juvenile delinquency in some countries.

In conclusion, the media’s focus on problems and emergencies is indeed harmful as it creates widespread fear among individuals and fosters negative societal consequences.
