    • Supporting idea:
      • Alternative medicines often lack standardization, meaning there are no consistent guidelines for their production, dosage, or administration. 
      • This lack of standardization can result in inconsistent and unpredictable outcomes.
    • Example: Promotion of high-dose vitamin C injections for cancer treatment, often administered by practitioners with limited medical knowledge, can result in dangerously elevated vitamin C levels, leading to complications such as kidney stones, nausea, and potential interactions with other medications.
